You’re invited: 2024 FJSA Hall of Honor Reception

Please join us on Friday, April 19 for the FJSA Hall of Honor reception. 

We are honoring trailblazing editor and reporter Cathie Anderson ’86 and the late documentary filmmaker Al Reinert ’70. Come spend an afternoon with your fellow Aggie journalists to celebrate these distinguished former students. 

It’s also a chance to hear the latest updates on journalism education at the university and to meet other supporters of journalism at Texas A&M. 

The event is open to all. It will be held on April 19 at 4 p.m. at the Stark Galleries at the Memorial Student Center.

This year, we are also asking for a suggested donation of $20. The money will go toward the cost of putting on the event. If you choose to give, thank you! You can also register with no cost. 

But we are dreaming big with FJSA. Beyond our yearly reception, we want to invite guest speakers to A&M classes, offer grants to students and even scholarship money. Which is to say, whether you can attend or not, you can donate any amount, knowing that your contribution will directly support events and programs to raise the profile of journalism at our university.
