Supporting our friends at Friends of The Battalion

We at FJSA are big supporters of The Battalion. And we’re helping spread the word about their 2023 fundraising goal that goes to help pay the student journalists.

Many of us remember getting paid for our work at The Batt. For at least five years, only staff editors have been paid a small salary, and writers and photographers paid only by the story.

The amount already raised will ensure a small salary for staff in 2024. We encourage you to help Friends of The Batt meet their fundraising goal for this year!
